SHA-384 Hash Generator

Generate SHA-384 hashes from text or files. A secure member of the SHA-2 family often used for Suite B cryptography.

What is SHA-384?

SHA-384 is a truncated version of SHA-512. It provides 384 bits of security and is part of the NSA's Suite B Cryptography. It's often used in high-security applications where SHA-256 might not be sufficient but SHA-512 is more than required.

Security Note

SHA-384 is considered extremely secure against all current known cryptographic attacks, including length extension attacks on some implementations (though SHA-384's truncation naturally provides some protection).
